This is my first attempt to display any of my work on this forum so please be gentle[:I] The top pens are Polaris and Cigar, the rest are modified slimline. The lite colored wood is ash. You may spot tigerwood and zebrawood.
Nice pens and tray. Now all you need is a note book with a wood cover made from the same wood or your choice of wood for the customers to try the pens. []
Well done Tom. Where did you get the little string tags? I have looked this area over pretty good and can't find any that are smaller than something like 1X2
Thanks for looking and thanks for the compliments. This pen turning thing is addictive. All I seem to do in the workshop these days is crank out pens.
I’ll try and answer some of the questions. Bev, they are zebrawood cut 45 degrees to the grain. The tray is flat Doug, at least so far. It’s Mk1 and could be improved on.
The tags are called jewelery tags and I got them at Staples. You realy do need a fine pen[].
Good idea about the notebooks Diane. I have lots of suitable wood lying around so I’ll give it a go.
