This was an Oak table leg that was pulled from the side of the road at work. I thought it had good potential so I brought it home. I came up with a nice little mini birdhouse ornament and a bell ornament. They are finished with 4 coats of spray lacquer. I still have one more piece to make something with. The top and bottom of the leg was damaged due to being out in the weather for a few days. I'm all the time bringing home trash from work to work with. It works for me.

Wow! very creative and resourceful, I like how you see beauty out of a damaged part and then transforming them into something useful and beautiful.
