Our local Hardware conglomerate raised the minimum freight to 50% so needing form ply shelving I made my own semi trailer using my large dissability scooter and a bike trailer. Takes but a minute to couple up using a tie rod end off a new Mercedes front end.Works so we already saved me a hundred $. Picked up the trailer for 20$. the tie rod end jobbed out for 9$.

Great thinking. Was the owner of the Mercedes okay with losing a tie rod end?? ;) I probably have a few W126 chassis tie rod ends on the garage shelf, would have been willing to check & donate to your project, but shipping would have been a wee expensive!!
