A few of my friends get together every week "virtually" in a zoom meeting and work on a specific project. This week we decided on the Richard Raffan " Tower Boxes" left one is Labernum 7 1/2" tall and the right one is Arbutus 9" tall both about 2 1/2" dia.
comments good or bad welcome

Beautiful! I also have been watching/learning on techniques for both turned boxes as well as routed ones. I appreciate this post.

Well done. 👍

Awesome. I like the added beads on the tops and bottom margin. You can also put a nose and beard on them and make the gnome boxes?!

The post showed the names of the woods used. The second one is also known as STRAWBERRY MADRONE or the Strawberry tree. The first is sometimes referred to as the Golden Chain tree. Caution should be used since all parts of the tree are POISONOUS.
