Not sure if I can even complete this project some of you may have seen this in the news but one week ago tonight we lost our 14 month old granddaughter in a freak accident & our daughter was injured as well by a fallin tree branch.

My family has asked me to make the urns for Tesa I know what I'm going to make but I'm not sure if I can.

I am so sorry for your loss and I hope that you daughter recovers from her injuries, as well as, her profound loss. If you need help making the urn please feel free to contact me. I would be honored to help you.

A tragedy and a time of great bereavement. Unfair in the worst way. You and your family have my sympathy as you face this loss.

Making the urn may be something to pass along to someone else to do, unless you feel that you will get a sense of needed closure by doing it. Please be careful in your decisions at a time like this.

You have my condolences and prayers. I cannot imagine what you are going through. Maybe you can find 1 or 2 local turners who can come over and work with you to help support you and pick up the task if/when it gets to be too much. That way you will still have a hand in the project, which will be important to your family, but the whole load will not be on you to do all the work.

I am far from local, but if I can help in any way please let me know.

I'm sorry to hear about your granddaughter

I made an Urn for my Uncle who passed suddenly this summer.. It was challenging and rewarding at the same time. The end result was far different from what I had envisioned but somehow far more fitting for him that I could have ever imagined until I met his friends at the service..

If I were to do it again I would see if someone with a ring master could cut a set of rings I could assemble and turn.. Hollowing was by far the hardest part.

Feel free to send me a PM is you have any questions.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how awful that would be. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

God Bless

My condolences. I'm not local to you but I'd be glad to make the urns for you if it would be difficult for you. I have not made any urns, but I belong to a woodturners club and I'm sure they would help me. Just let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
Sincerely, Rod

Very sorry to hear of your tragic turn of events. There has been many people that I know who have lost loved ones too soon. The president of my guild wrote an article on this subject titled "turning through tears", a fitting title for a very sad thing. "Sometimes the Greater Plan, is too hard to understand, But the Good Lord knows, I guess...." Luke Bryan. Don

I am very sorry for your loss - your family will be in my prayers.

I hope no one feels this is inappropriate, but it looks like the family could use our help. If I am out of line here please accept my apologies, and mods please remove this if you don't approve.
