Tool Reviews - Ever thought of this?

Has anyone ever thought of posting "Tool Reviews" either here or in the Library for people to find when they use the search function? I've thought this would be great for a while... For example when I was shopping around for my lathe, the first thing I did was try searching "Jet Mini Lathe" and I got HUNDREDS of hits, many of which were just people mentioning that they used, had, wanted, or didn't like the JML... Now I know that search engines are not perfect and there is no way to avoid useless info 100% ... but I thought this might be a neat way to keep information organized and easy to spot if someone's searching. It might also cut down on the repetitive threads about a certain thing.

So like if you were going to do one on the Jet Mini, you would put 'Jet Mini Lathe Model 1014I Tool Review' in the subject. Then people also wanting to review could post to that same thread, and so on.

Anyone like that idea? If there is something similar already in place, let me know because I obviously don't know what it is!!

I have looked at it too... and it was the clincher on my new lathe (if anyone remembers I was undecided between the original JML and the VS) -- when I actually saw his pics and description of changing speeds, I decided it wasn't worth the extra $80 for VS (and don't regret my decision now that I have it).

But on the other hand, this is just one person's opinion. I personally like to get a couple before I choose something.

I just thought it might be a good way to condense information that is specifically about tool reviews and make it easier to locate in search results.
