I got a T7 Tormek yesterday. I got it home last night and I LOVE it. It puts the best edge on a tool of anything I have seen to date. I is easy to use and I played with a piece of Walnut last night and was amazed at the wood when I was finished. It did not need sanding at all and had a great shine to it. Anyhow just thought that I would wait till I could get pictures posted so I would have proof. No picture..... I will keep my Wolverine set up for bulk removal but I will use the Tormek for the finial result. enjoy, Russell

Congrats Russell. Sharp tools sure make your life easier. Don't forget to sharpen the wife's kitchen knifes. When they get a benefit out of your tools it sure makes getting new ones a lot easier.

Very nice. Enjoy, outside of price, I haven't found any complaints about the T7.
I will be pulling the trigger soon on one of these.

I bet Mrs_IPD would agree with that. Hehe Congrats on the new tool. I'm green:biggrin: with envy. Enjoy the sharp tools.

Congrats on your new best friend. The advice about the knives is way good. When I bought my knock off Griz, the first thing I sharpened was her knives. When you do put a great edge on the knives, be very sure and warn her and warn her and WARN HER THEY ARE SHARP!! I only told Doris one time before she nearly tool off a finger. After profuse apologies and much groveling, she forgave me. Now it is routine, "Honey, I am taking your knives to the shop and they will be sharp!" Now I am allowed to sharpen all the lil' old ladies knives in the neighborhood. One of the best tools I ever bought.
