I had posted here asking abuot the nova 2or the Barracuda 2 and had many opinions. Finnaly decided on the Barracuda.The kit includes #2 jaws,#1 step jaws,#3 round jaws,Pin jaws,Screw chuck adapter, is threaded for 1-8tpi,has an adapterfor 3/4-16 tpi a case and of course the wrenches to put it together and adjust the jaws. Ordered it Saturday night from Amazon for $168.00 and free shipping. Well it showed up today! Only 3 days . I expected free shipping to be they would put it on a bus with somebody who might be headed this way in a few days and they would drop it off at the post office when they got near. I was pleasently surprised. Just need a few days off to give her a try , but wont happen till Monday:frown: Appreciate everyones input.

If it is like the Nova, which i suspect it is. it is not at all hard to get set up. just keep a firm two handed grip on it while getting it started on the head stock. It really sucks to drop it trying to install it for the first time and they are surprisingly heavy. Just don't trust that the threads have caught until you know for certain. I don't think for a second you will be sorry you got it and it sure can inspire a lot of ideas in your turning.

I have one of the older baracudas with the tommy bars and have never regreted getting it. Hope you will find yours the same.
