Tool gloat... small, but baby steps are good!

Yesterday we were driving through Cincinatti and noticed that a Sears Appliance and Hardware store was have a going out of business sale. LOML knows I've been eyeballing the DrillDoctor and suggested we swing in and take a look. Everything in the store was on 10 - 30% clearance... not much in some cases, not bad in others. Anyway, they had all three DD X models and she bought me the 750X. I'm not sure how good a deal we got since I haven't looked at them online yet, but it was normally $160 and we got it for $127 (less than the normal price of the 500X). At any rate, I'm quite pleased!

Lou, let me ask you a stupid question. I know it will do split points. Can you convert a regular grind drill bit to split point with it?
