I've been really busy lately and haven't had much time to do any posting. I've grabbed a few minutes to post a tool gloat.
Background: There was an estate auction advertised in the newspaper about two weeks ago. It advertised antique furniture and woodworking tools. I had never been to auction before and this past weekend didn't have anything scheduled so Dad said that we could check it out.
Here is what we came home with, and what we paid for it.
A Rockwell 14 inch Bandsaw with a half dozen brand new blades and 32 inch guide rail-fence combo thing.
$110
A BRAND-SPANKING-NEW Powermatic 1.5 Hp Dust Collector. The thing is 2.5 years old and has never been used!
$150
An assortment of turning tools, several never used. Four of them are Sheffield, England HSS.
$30
So, how'd we do? [}

BTW, I had a blast with the whole auction experience, it was pretty cool. I would definitely do it again!
