Tool Cabinet

Hi,

I have been working in my shop, making a new tool cabinet to replace an old one. It will hold some of my hand tools.

This is the old one,

This is the new one with out doors

And here she is with the walnut paneled doors.

The doors are accented with ebony plugs and spalted maple lattice for the windows. The door pulls are hand made from some of the same wood.

I have to make some supports for the planes to sit in the case.

Beautiful work Jim. The contrast in the woods really looks good. I love it when people make good looking cabinets for their shops.

I'll have to be careful that my tool collection doesn't find out or they will run away from home trying to find better accomodations. []

You do see a 606, a C&W jointer and a Sauer and Stiener African Blackwood Infill panel plane....[]

You should see what's inside![:0] But then my wife might find out if I did...shhhhhh[]
