I got the new bushings for the Euro pen and also got the Tormek jig that holds the skew for sharpening....
... I also sharpened and tried the spindle gouge, parting tool and scraper... wanted to try them all on the same piece of acrylic to finally decide on the right tool for me to use on acrylics...
It wasn't even close... the skew, sharpened on the Jet wet sharpener using the Tormek jig went fast, smooth, and I had control the whole time.
I'm happy... I have always liked the skew, but never liked the way it cut on acrylic... Now I do! Sure are different grades of "sharp" aren't there [
