Spent the last three months putting together a new shop. Today I actually got a chance to get in it and play (instead of paint, spackle, lay flooring, etc.). This is the result.

Jichi (or Jichimu) is a Chinese exotic that comes from Guangdong and Hainan Provinces. It's dark like wenge, but the grain pattern mimics layers of feathers. Jichi, as I understand it, means, "chicken wing feather wood." Roughly translated, of course.
