Titanium Inlay Rings with Opal crystals

There is some frustration with inlay rings perhaps related to buying larger crystals, though they are done and ready to tag & display. Be prepared to buff your rings, discover crevices, add more CA, sand and rebuff to a nice result. It works! The titanium ring cores are as easy to work with compared to stainless steel and they are very light. This metal seems to make a difference with the early customers.

Advice

Add crystals, add medium CA. LET CURE WELL. Turn to smooth turning the CA off of the titanium too. You'll see the metal brighten. Wear a shield! Sand, inspect and add more CA if you see empty pits. Buff well. Admire your ring.

Next time I'll buy both the smaller crystals and the medium sized ones.

I can attest to this from doing stone inlay in pens and magic wands. Haven't done one yet without dips and crevices to fill, and that's even when I overfill to avoid it.

They look great. I love the opal options. So far I have just crushed other stones I already have around, or beads that were already damaged.
