This is a project I started over a year ago.

The image is engraved, and then filled.

I hate painting and I'm not good at it, so this sat on a shelf until a few days ago. I finally got it assembled and painted, and this is the result.

I'm going to put a clear coat on it now, and it still needs the pull string put on, but that has to wait until it's dry after being cleared.

The colors were picked by the better-half, and she loves it.

Thanks for looking.

John, your modesty is showing through again. That looks super and the colors are oh so right for your project. Wonderful work that you should be very proud of.

Cute. What are the dimensions?
When Momma is happy, everybody's happy! My wife likes it, too. Now....I'm happy!
Edit- How did you engrave it. Could use the technique for other things.

Thanks for your kind words but, I truly am not a painter. My hands just aren't steady.

It measures 8" x 18", and it was engraved on the cnc.
I have other designs ready but, I just haven't got to cutting them yet.

I was asked by a couple of people, to make these for sale as kits.
I don't do shows, and don't have any other method to sell them. So, they will just be made as gifts, as time permits.
