In the past I posted a few pens with guitar purfling incorporated.
The one problem with purfling is that it is only 2.6mm thick. I showed how I set it into a pen blank here.

Timber is Padauk.

Very nice segmenting. Much, much better than my first attempt. It would have made good termite food.
