You probably could but wouldn't want to. Get a scroll saw. Its cheaper and more suited to the task.

What are you wanting to do with the saw? If just chopping the blank to length, yes but now very well equipped for the job. The diamond blade is for very hard and brittle substances. Used on PR or wood it would jsut melt or burn the blank in MHO. If used for segmenting, I do not believe it would all that well at all. I would rather recommend either the scroll saw mentioned above or a small band saw, either should be available for about the same price.
