One of the best parts of woodturning is revealing what lies below the surface of the wood. The eyes of this Thuya Burl are truly exquisite. Decided on Titanium Gold components to bring out the gold tones in the wood. Thanks for looking,

Bill

The blank is stunning and your finish is equally impressive. Sometimes nothing beats a beautiful piece of wood for an artistic template.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

With a couple of simple accents, it would be a great entry for the Segmented Pen Contest.

To be fair, if you got any left, as is, it would make a great entry in the Pretty Wood Pen Contest, as this one is already shown, just need to turn another.

Outstanding Pen Bill.
Gorgeous Thuya Burl Blank,
Beautifully Turned, Fitted, and an Incredible Finish.
Perfect Accompaniment to the Titanium Gold Hardware.
Great Craftsmanship. A Worthy Contender for a Front Page.
Regards,
Brian.

Thanks for all the kind words. For those interested, the blanks are exhibition grade Thuya Burl from Woodturningz, and the kit came from Exotic Blanks. The finish is the dipping method, one I've been using for a while. Can't say I've perfected it, but it is getting better with each pen.
