Thoughts on combo's for the Belleau Wood

I won a few WWI Veterans Stamps on eBay...

Got a Belleau Wood trading card, I am going to play with to see if I can cast an image of a WWI Marine.

What pen kit and any thoughts to what I should/could cast with the lumber I obtained?

I have about 6" or so and need to stabilize it...want to get 2-3 pens out of it by using it as either a top or bottom.

Most of you are WAY more creative then I am...help me here.

Hope those of you in the path of the storm are o.k... Barely grazed us, we lost power from 2200 - 0600.

I don't know the stamp your talking about but if it's worth hanging on to I would make a copy. Most of the pens I make are 7mm twist pens because I like people to carry and use them. If you decide to copy the stamp you can adjust the size to fit any pen tube you like.

Sean, how do you win stuff on ebay? I thought you just had to be willing to spend the most money! :biggrin:

Not sure what the wood is you are referring to. If you are doing something significant, it is hard to beat a Jr Statesman. Nice, subtle style and looks expensive. Good size cap and body to show off your work.
