Saw the post of Tom's minature vase's and liked them so much i thought i would give it a go.[:I]
It was a real enjoyment turning something different, very hard with full size tools though.

The vase is Alt Onyx and the Goblet is Alt Amber height is 1.5" and the stem is .198" at its narrowest.

Many thanks for the inspiration Tom:)

You're welcome Andrew!!! And fantastic work indeed!!![:)] Yes, I have been able to find a few tools small enough, but for hollowing I've had to make up my own.

Where did you get the Alt. Onyx and Alt. Amber?

Thanks for the comments.
Don the Onyx really only has a hole drilled in it, i did manage to hollow it out very slighty using a small drill bit on an angle.[:0]

Tom, drop Ed Brown (ed4copies) an email he will be able to sort you out.[:)]

Andrew, those are very nice. [:)]You got an excellent finish on them too. I'm too clumsy to even try something that delicate.

And Tom hooks another one----SWMBO made the same mistake--- she saw Tom's post a long time ago on another site. We now have Mini's every where.
Looks like you are off to a great start.

FYI, I believe there are guys using the concrete nails because they are HSS or something like that, Make a small handle and grind your profile.

Nice job, I love that Alt Onyx one myself. [;)]
