Thompson Bowl Gouge

I'm looking to buy a Thompson bowl gouge for turning small bowls. I have a Delta 46-460. Any recommendation on whether I should get the 3/8 or the ½ bowl gouge

My personal preference, even for small bowls, is a 1/2" bowl gouge. I usually only use my 3/8" gouge when I am adding finer details.
