Holly, 2 shades of Oak and Black Oak veneer locked in battle in a TM Leto kit. Perhaps a little over the top with segments but learnt a lot in the process. More than a couple of finials few apart or pinged off in to the ether and I may change them in favour of a solid darker wood

Mighty impressive precision! This would have been an awesome entry into the Segmented pen contest. Hopefully you have another in the works. One of the nicest segmenting I have seen here in quite a long time, thanks for the inspiration.

I like this alot. I think it all works together well. Would not change a thing. Yes a different combination will give a different look but this is fine too. Well done. Love to see new people doing segmenting work. Thanks for showing.

That does show some excellent precision. I like it exactly as it is. We are often (usually?) our own worst critics, though.
My first thought was as Mark said, this would have been a great entry in the segmenting contest.
