Probally a good idea to go ahead and get the smack talk out of the way early. Ernie. Florida (well actually, most of the SEC teams) are really upset about this years bowl selections.

I expect one of two things from the Gators tonight. 1. They come out and "make a point" that they should end the year ranked #2 behind Alabama. OR 2. Come out and "lay down" in protest of the bowl selection.

Louisville should be praying for Option 2! The whole SEC is "over" BCS and we are harboring a lot of hostility and frustration. I wouldn't look for a "Gentleman's game" tonight:)

I was thinking about you to Andy!!! You don't want my honest opinion on what I think of the SEC, it may get me barred from ever getting you're world famous baked beans. But you're starting to sound like a Kentucky Fan:biggrin:. I truly think we will surprise alot of people tonight. But time will tell and if we get whooped, i'll be the first to say Great Game and Wait Till Basketball Season:biggrin:. That's a typical Ky Fan's reaction when we beat them!!!!!!
 
Ernie, you'll never be barred from the baked beans:) In this house, politics and sports "are what they are-opinions (and everybody else's stinks:) AND I'm not "all that" over SEC. BUT, I am with a majority of the coaches, in that the higher ranked teams should get to play the better bowls, regardless of how many teams in ANY conference qualify for "BCS".

As you know. I am a rabid college football AND basketball fan. I, for one, CAN'T WAIT till 2014 when FBS has tournament play, much like NCAA Tournament.

I have NO love loss for the Gators and would LOVE to see a great game tonight. Mostly I was just yanking your chain for missing "Rib Sunday". I do understand getting iced in:

They were still talking. They're not smart enough to realize they lost:eek:. All I heard was - Wait Till Next Year. And yes I'm a Ky Hater 100%!!!!

No beef about the SEC either, just some fans that wear Cats. I know there's a bunch on here and i'm the only Cards Fan besides Keith, the polymer clay guy!! So Good luck Andy - 10 minutes until gametime!!
 
Ernie, here I'm sitting in front of the TV waiting for kick off in 30 minutes. I've never understood the BCS and won't get into strength of conference's. But I'll give you 13 1/2 points tonight, looser donates $20 the IAP and Andy as always my love for your dogs is just below my love of snakes, and eating live scorpions..

Well, I for one wanted Louisville to win this one, and I'm a big SEC fan. But I've been a big Charlie Strong fan too. I was really hoping he'd end up at Arkansas, but I think he may stay where he is till he retires. And why not, they are really on their way up.

Florida may not have shown up, but even if they had, I think they would have been in for a fight. Louisville was really hitting. In fact, I wish we'd get them to come on over to the SEC. They should just skip the ACC. But I'm sure Kentucky would veto that.

For the last 6 or seven years most of our players have come from Florida. Pretty amazing how many good kids they have down there. Today should of been a national hoilday here. Everybody I talked to stayed up very late and watched the game.
