Was talking to a guy at work tonight. He took a trip to Harrisonburg, VA. During his tale he would say "I got off at exit 250, no it was 251." "Then I caught 295, I mean 95." My point is why do people do that? I wouldn't know if it was 250 or 251. Or they say (I catch myself sometimes) "to make a long story short". Where did that ever start??
