Beause of accumulating snow, my workplace is operating with a two hour delayed arrival. I could make a Pretty Wood Pen in two hours. I'm not eligible to enter, so I'll go shovel snow instead.

Get one of these instead.
After all, they ARE built in your state. :)

Herb, I prefer the Armstrong model. He's quieter, gets it done faster and cleaner, doesn't smell gassy (most of the time), and starts every time.

When there's a big snow, or heavy wet stuff, then I break out "The Tank" that looks like this (image stolen from the interwebs):
