Thin CA Turning Thick

I have a 8 oz bottle of ca that just turned thick. Is there something to turn it back to thin, acetone maybe? Any suggestions appreciated.

THICK GLUE

How old is the glue? My guess is that it is well past shelf life.

That's why I quit using the 8 oz. bottles unless I was going to soak an entire bowl or something. Once it starts to turn thick, you need the proverbial fountain of youth.

It's either getting old or you got contamination of some sort in the bottle. There is no way to thin it. It will gradually get thicker until it hardens completely.

Okey Dokey, thanks guys. It is at the last quarter of the bottle so I'm sure its ready to discard.

Don't discard it because it's getting thick, it's still usable. Just takes a little longer to set so it could be used to glue in tubes or fill voids.

I never buy the larger bottles for that reason. The 2oz. bottle works great for me.

I would add some thin and thin out the thick.
