So, I made the dark one for my boss as a retirement gift and the striped one to sell. Wasted several black ebony blanks because as soon as drill bit hit the bottom, the blank would break into two or more pieces but finally got one to cooperate.

Not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me, but it looks like you've inlaid the clip?
I've done a few black ebony lens and all but one ended up cracking eventually. Of course that was years ago and I've learned a lot since then! Nice gift.
