This is my second attempt at the idea I had for this pen. The first was came out nice but I had problems when I was putting it together and I had to scrap it. The white is Alumilite I ordered from Fred (PtownSubblie), The red and blue are Segmenting Accents I ordered from Arizona Silhouette. I cut the blank with my miter saw and glued up everything with CA. I'm happy with the way it came out. All C & C are welcome.

Very NICE !!! ... and CLASSY !!! ... the styling suits the cigar pen well !!!

Did you have any chipping from the miter saw blade ? .. carbide blade tips ? .. 10" or 12" blade ?

Thanks so much for all the great comments, I've been wanting to make this pen for a while but I put it off. I'm glad it came out as well as I hoped it was going to. I realized today why I had the problems I did with the last one I bought some extra cigar tubes and they are under size the bushing fit in very tight and when I try to put the parts in it breaks out the blanks. I did not have any chip out using a really worn 12" carbide tip blade. I wish I had a band saw at times for project like this.

Thanks Terry and Mike for your nice comment's. Terry I think it was about 90 minutes but some if that was drying time. Mike I do think about that day often especially when I turn piece of corian or when wet sanding a acrylic or alumilite blank.
