So since I'm going to start doing more taks ON my lathe (drilling, squaring, etc....) a question comes to mind.
I've not worried about this too much in the past. I've got a rikon mini lathe, multi (not variable) speed. I don't recall the model #. Overall I like it alot, it's been a great lathe. however..... The tailstock has a bit of side to side play in it. Just a teeny bit, but enough that it could affect drilling or sanding. Anyone have any easy tricks for quickly squaring up your tail stock each time you lock it down? Maybe a gadget? Maybe a DIY gadget?
Thanks.
