For those of you that don't have a shop, don't feel bad and don't use it as an excuse. Every weekend I carry my tools down to the laundry room in my barracks(Army) and do my wood turning. I am quite content for now, when I retire I will have my shop(dreams). If you are happy doing something you will find a way to do it. Here are a few pics of my shop.

I know how you feel, when I was in recruiting school for the navy as a first class (still active duty also) I had my lathe and drill press with me and kept in my barracks room. I would turn outside in the middle court yard of the barracks. I would also work on the class project in the same area.
When I checked in to my command for recruiting I got placed eventually into a reserve station and as it turns out the female who was to teach me about the reserve recruiting saw me in the barracks when she was in school at the same time and thought I was a maintence man. I wore coveralls and had a blue hat on from my previous command. Get it done where you can....... BYthe way love the shop...

Whoa, wait one minute... you guy's now have Front Loader's... I had to deal with lousy top load that had my BDU's faded by the 2nd wash....

I sold Appliances after I got out of the Army.... I guess our Military is a bit Greener
