The kits are haunted

I have tried to make a couple Euro Fountain Pens from Woodcraft. I honestly believe the kits are haunted. When ever I have tried working with them I am jinxed. Last night worked on one, and ended up screwing it up. Then went to work on a creekline, and CA glue finish wouldn't come out right. I have done several on that type of wood, it's not foggy, just scratches. Another time went to work on one, got the wrong tubes, and messed up a couple things.

Have you all had a kit that anytime you try using one, it just seems to mess everything up?

Is that the one where you press-fit the lower barrel finial into a threaded adapter? I've done one of those kits and I didn't like how that turned out.

hmmmm....I'm not sure ghosts react much to exercise.....but you might do ok if you exorcise them.:biggrin:

I didn't knock it --- I just said I couldn't stand him. My spouse sent him a lot of our money for tapes....that's how I know I couldn't stand him, had to listen sometimes for hours unless I could figure out something to do out of hearing range.:redface:
