So back in June at out Centex meet'n greet a young man by the name of "It's Virgil" showed up and showed us how to make our own snake blanks. He also brought some for us to buy if we were interested.

I picked up a Bolt Action blank and when I finished the first pen I thought "This would be awesome as a pen/pencil set. So I called Don up and asked for another one with a similar pattern. A couple days later the postman drops off a very anticipated box.

These blanks turn very easily with a sharp skew and with a little wet micro mesh they polish with a nice shine.

Herb, if you can turn acrylic, you can turn these. Just take your time and make small cuts. I am still a very novice turner.
