Well it starts today. The movers will be here in a few hours to load up. Tonight I head out in the car with the cat and dog.

It will be a 2 day 24 hour drive from here to where I will end up in Michigan. I am not looking forward to the drive and worrying about a 19 year old cat and 14 year old dog at the same time. I am sure we will make several stops on the way. By the way, both the cat and dog are rescue animals and we are all 3 very close now.

The highlight of the drive will be Saturday though. I am going to make a surprise visit to my Dad. We talk every week but I have not seen him in 2 years now. I can't wait. It is long overdue. Later I will see my sister as well. Sunday I will see my fiancee again after a year. It will be a great weekend.

Well off to do the last minute things. I will be back when I settle in my new place.

You do realize it snows up here in the north !! Cat and dog will love you when you put them out to do their job and it's 25 below zero and a wind chill of 45 below. I wish you a safe and happy trip !!! Let us know when you get settled in and warm again. Jim S
