The Drought

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department put together this photo essay. Almost the entire state of Texas and most of Oklahoma are under "Exceptional" drought, which is the worst classification.

It turned a little cooler in North Texas today, but still no rain. Thousands have lost homes, property and sadly some have lost their lives to wildfire.

Please pray for rain!

All of this brings a whole new meaning to global warming. Unfortunately some places are warmer and some cooler and some things happen that never used to happen. As William Shatner says is that weird or what. Thinking of all you Texans.

Thanks for the links to these. It's certainly been hot around here, but living in metro Houston you don't actually see the detail presented in these reports.

This has sure been bad year with droughts and storms. I hope you guys get some much needed rain. Everyone needs to do a rain dance down there.LOL.:biggrin:
