I made a dozen of these and at a craft show a couple of weeks ago, the only things I sold was a bottle stopper and 10 fridge magnets. The 2 that didn't sell were wood, the others were acrylics.

I glue mine to a 3/4" dowel and chuck it in my collet chuck. You can also try these for those into board games.

I made up the jig described in the article and used a fine drywall screw, which worked fine.
