Thank you for accepting me in this forum, please let me introduce briefly myself, my wife and I work making characters with different kinds of wood we are happy with it but also we were thinking in start a business (woodturning) so it was also a good excuse for buying a mini lathe, we just bought it some weeks ago ('we haven't used it yet waiting for our turning tools and accessories to be delivered) and now we have the idea of making pens we like it and think it's going to be very nice and fun.
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to learn from you.

Welcome. Plenty of great resources in the library to start with, as well as ideas for directions you can take in your turning.
 
Welcome from IL. Turning is fun and it's nice to start and finish a project in a short time, unlike most woodworking. Sky's the limit on ideas and there is plenty to see and learn here.
