Just a quick thanks to all of the great members here. I have loved getting to know some of you and having the opportunity to provide some of the materials with which you make your pens :D

Due to the success of the big sale I recently held, I will be graduating with my B.S. in Music Education in 16 days - DEBT-FREE [8D]

I am still going to be around - I learn more from you all every time I read stuff on this site. I hope to keep selling good stuff as I come across it, too. Speaking of, since those Aussie burls sold so fast, I will get more in before Christmas - a bit more York Gum, Corrugata, and Horistes. I also now own www.penblanks.org - although don't bother trying to go there, nothing is up yet. But stay tuned =)

Again, big thanks to IAP and the great members here. I am proud to be a part of the organization.

Sincerely,

Dang, Joel, I feel like one of our members grew up on us! The grit and ingenuity you have shown in learning the craft of turning, finding great deals and passing them on to others speaks well of you.

Graduating from college debt-free is an amazing feat not many achieve. You are to be proud of yourself. Just don't grow up too much and go off and leave us, we want you to stay a part of our community!

Wow! good for you. I shudder to think back at what I owed when I graduated from college. All the best of luck on your next adventure. Now starts the real fun but from the sounds of it you are more than ready. Keep the blanks coming we've gotten used to having you around.

Congrats Joel. Good luck with all of your future endeavors. May they be as successful as your wood sales [:D]

Can't wait to get my package, two new woods that I've not tried.

Congrats, Joel! Dave Ramsey would be proud. I am pleased with the blanks I got from you - one of the pink ivory pens sold to a nice jewelry store.

Best of luck to you and I hope to be a customer of yours again in the future.

Chris

Congratulations, Joel. Very well done... and debt free? NICE! I couldn't do that and I gradutated in 2 1/2 years... with my GI Bill... and several scholarships... and a part time job (okay, so I had a family of 7 to provide for at the time[:D]). You are to be commended.

Congrats Joel. But it should be TUBAS blowing. I'm just a little prejudiced toward tubas. My son played one in high school.

That's awesome Joel - congratulations! I'm also partial to the big brass instruments. I played trombone in HS [:)] Debt free - you'll appreciate that more and more as you move on in life. Great job.

Thank you all for the kind words and the encouragement. I have learned much from you all, and not just in the area of penturning. It is a great priviledge to learn from those <s>older and </s>wiser members of society!

Cav, be careful, you don't want to have people catch you saying nice things - the members here will start to think you are getting soft [:D]

Doc, I will see what I can do about the tuba upload [8D]

Brian, I am sitting out one semester and starting an irrigation installation/repair company in the Greenville, SC area. I spent the summer running an irrigation company in Charleston that had an excellent standard of workmanship, and I hope to continue the same here in Greenville. I will start an MBA in the fall. I am aiming to pay for grad school with the irrigation and pay for rent with pen + wood sales - we will see how that works out! And then we have money for a ring coming out of all of that too [8D]

Congratulations on the several accomplishments attained: graduation, doing it debt-free, and walking out with a business plan -- other than goods to the addicts on this forum [:D][:p]
Glad I could be a small part of it. [;)]
