Thank You pen in gold and gunmetal from Exotic Blanks. The blank is an AA called Hog Wild from Wood & Acrylic Supply. Cool looking blank.

I painted and colored the epoxy black, which made it kind of dark. I probably should have used orange. Still looks good, though.

Hi. I like your pen, At first glance I was going to comment that my Hog Wild blanks have a lot more and brighter orange in them, but then I read your post. I'll bet you are right about the paint. It is amazing what a difference the paint color makes. - Dave

Yes, back painting can make a huge difference. These are from the same blank, one back painted black, the other white. They don't even look like the same blank.
