I recently sold a fountain pen which the customer reports delivers too much ink, see attached customer photos. I suspected air was getting into the ink delivery system and suggested the customer checked that the nib was screwed in tightly and that the ink cartridge was pushed fully home which they were. I wanted to keep the customer happy so sent out a new nib to replace the one they have. Hopefully this will fix things, but it got me thinking...should I consider testing my pens before shipping? Is this something others do? I'd welcome any advice, thank you!
