Has anyone ever turned a Lava Explosion blank called Tectonic Seas from Exotic? It doesn't look like the blues are as dark as their example.

I have not, but would love to see what it looks like. I would buy a few. I would paint the inside of the barrel white or very light blue. I would try it on a pen with some meat on it. If it's Alumilite, it is it may be relatively opaque.

You are definitely right !

Yours is way lighter. . Those blanks are made by a guy in Texas. . His own website is ... www.muttblanks.com ...
He might have some Tectonic Seas blanks listed there if you want to check. . Pretty sure that it is an Alumilite blank.

Just like the Tardis is bigger on the inside, this blank is prettier on the inside. I think it's going to be stunning when it's polished.

I thought the same thing, but Exotic's website says it's alumilite, and it turns like it is. Very messy!

Oh yeah, maybe even prettier than the first. You know, I just looked closely at them, and they remind me of storms over the ocean.
