Hi all,
Recently I purchased some Teak Burl (Tectona Grandis) blanks from an Ebay vendor. These blanks are unlike other teak burl I've seen till now. Instead of tiny eyes, they're plenty of bigger ones, swirls, etc. (see pic attached).
While I've used a couple of them, I was commissioned for a kitless (or semi kitless) fountain pen with Teak burl like the ones pictured. The problem is they're too short for this kind of pen. Also an email to the vendor was useless for he sold all of his stock...
Do you know where I could find some 8" blanks with this kind of teak? Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards.
Christos.

I think I have some knife blocks of that, what are the actual dimensions you need? I can photograph & pm you a price.

Bill

Hi Bill,
Yes I'm interested. The length: 8" (a bit less should be OK though). As for the width, if I can afford your price could be any wide.

Yes please a pic should be great.
