I have several snake skins to get ready for pens. I am in need of a good sized bottle of glycerine and was wanting to see if anyone has used any online retailers that they would recommend. Thanks!

With shipping costs today not to mention handling charges, any big box drugstores or Wally world should have it at a reasonable price when you had the shipping.

That's what I thought, too. I asked my mom to call for me (she's a pharmacist) to see how much it would be to special order a larger size than the 4oz bottle they carry. They can order a pint for me and it would be $20! That adds up really fast!

They sold it in larger sizes around here, Last time I bought some I got a quart.
It is used in soap making, and drying flowers. Check Hobby lobby and Micheal's, Joann fabric and crafts. Vegetable glycerine is about $30 a gallon with out shipping in google.

Crafters Choice
Here is a soap and cosmetic supply place. $17.95 gallon free shipping on a $30.00 dollar minimum 2 gallon and it's such a deal:wink:

Mason, I use CQconcepts, Its where i buy my alcohol(99%) and glycerine(99%)

Glycerine

Alcohol

Now, keep in mind, i usually buy it in the gallon form so its a little cheaper, but you could go to wally world and buy the 91% and it would work just fine. Call/text me if you need any more help

Thanks for the tips...i figured i would find it online the cheapest but wanted to see if there were any suppliers yall had used.

I checked at wal-mart this afternoon and they can special order it in the pharmacy for a mere $118 per gallon! or you can special order a 6 oz bottle for $6 and some change...or pick it up off the shelf right outside the pharmacy for $3.88?:confused:

Thanks again for the help...Seamus, i may be calling on you to cast some of these if i dont get the supplies to cast by the end of the month.
