Has anyone ever heard of it? I bought a piece of wood from ebay and the seller sent me this as a complimentary item. Haven't been able to find it anywhere. Asked seller, no response. Botanical name?

Regards, Steve

Could it be tangerine?

Is it light colored almost off white with yellowish tint with very unpronounced growth rings? If so it is a fruit (citrus) wood.

Lol, that's what I was going to say. As far as I know, tangerines still do grow on tangerine trees made of tangerine tree wood. [^]

We have tangerine trees in the back yard. It's really hard to go out back and see all those uncut pen blanks with leaves staring at you, LOL[}:)]
