Table Saw recommendations

I am looking for a smaller table saw. It will be used for pens up to boxes, so I don't need a full sized floor model. Does anyone have experience with any of the "mid-size" or portable models? I think the mini's are too small for some things I want to do. I don't want the $99 special from Lowe's or Sears, I am thinking about the $400-500 DeWalts but would like input.

Used, Find a Ryobi BT3100 or BT3000 on craigslist or ebay. great saw for the money.

I have both the Ridgid TS3650 and the Bosch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either. If you can sacrifice some portability I would go with the Ridgid.

I' m happy with my Triton table saw, it portable, easy to move around.

I use a little Delta Shopmaster..with 10" blade from Lowe's.. it has about a 25 x 30 inch or less foot print in the shop and handles most anything I do.. it's smaller than some of the "portables", and light enough I can carry it around if needed.

I have the Bosch 4100 which is basically the Bosch 4000 upgraded to have a riving knife. I really like this TS. It has all the power I need to rip 4'x8' panels or 8/4 boards, so it is more than adequate to cut pen blanks!

I'll echo what everyone else has said about the Bosch 4000. Absolutely great saw. Call around to all the Lowe's within driving distance. I bought one about a month ago on closeout for $301.00. You might accidently find one! My Lowe's now has the new 4100 for $599.00 up $50.00 from the original price of the 4000
