Finally broke down and bought a new table saw. Been loking at this one for 599 and the other day was in Home Dept and the sign said 499. Didnt really need something this big for what i normally do but who knows what i might come up with next. So far i love it. Was 450 pounds with the box and about 375 without. The wife and I had a hell of a time getting it into the shop. With the lifetime warranty i should never have to buy another saw. saw.jpg

congratulations. They are nice saws, if you dont already have one get a stiffener plate for the blades. they do make a difference.

That looks like a top notch saw! Check into a possible recall that happened a few months ago. It's unlikely that HD would still offer the saws that were recalled but for peace of mind, I would check. The recall involved an issue with use of stacked dado blades and it sounded like the blades could come off during operation.

By the way, my wife said I could have a table saw with the granite top as soon as she has granite counter tops in the kitchen. That's going to make that one expensive saw for me!

John i had heard about the recall and took the numbers with me to check before we loaded into the truck. The home depot guys looked at me like a nut. But thought i better check first.

I have one that I purchased 3 years ago (no granite top) and I love it. I added a Beismeyer fence and am really happy with it. Congrats on your purchase.
