Hi,
After reading the "Swirling segment" article by Andrew Kirkham, I tried my first segmented pens.
It's a Sierra platinum with tuya burl, walnut and ebony accents.

Looks good! If you have a scrollsaw that works as well with less danger to your digits.
Hi Gary, I should get one, because the kerf of the bandsaw cut is too large, even with the smaller blade and I need to correct the curvature of the two matching pieces with the file!

Here's a tip. Stack two pieces togather and cut them at the same time. You'll get matching pieces.

I did so, but with the bandsaw the resulting kerf is larger than the ebony inlay, so you need to correct the curvatures...

You can find smaller ones used for a low price, just do your research and get a decent brand that takes pinless blades.
