Thank you Ken. Yes, on the band saw.Very nice. Did you cut them on a bandsaw?
Hi Gary, I should get one, because the kerf of the bandsaw cut is too large, even with the smaller blade and I need to correct the curvature of the two matching pieces with the file!Looks good! If you have a scrollsaw that works as well with less danger to your digits.
Here's a tip. Stack two pieces togather and cut them at the same time. You'll get matching pieces.Hi Gary, I should get one, because the kerf of the bandsaw cut is too large, even with the smaller blade and I need to correct the curvature of the two matching pieces with the file!
I did so, but with the bandsaw the resulting kerf is larger than the ebony inlay, so you need to correct the curvatures...Here's a tip. Stack two pieces togather and cut them at the same time. You'll get matching pieces.
You can find smaller ones used for a low price, just do your research and get a decent brand that takes pinless blades.Hi Gary, I should get one, because the kerf of the bandsaw cut is too large, even with the smaller blade and I need to correct the curvature of the two matching pieces with the file!
Well however you did it worked great, so there's no arguing with that. I really like the colors in it.I did so, but with the bandsaw the resulting kerf is larger than the ebony inlay, so you need to correct the curvatures...
