Swinging picture frame.

My wife requested a picture frame to match her business card holder that I showed a few weeks ago. So far , for her work desk along with the card holder, I've made her a tissue box cover and a glasses/ pen box. All maple and redheart.

I just realized the splines in the frame doesn't show. It is splined though with red heart splines.

Love working with maple. Here is a project that I have not completed either. It is a display case for my best pens. I really do need to complete some of these projects. It is maple and bloodwood splines. I did some fancy work on the lid to reinforce but it is basically a spline. You could try something like this on the next one.
