I found this Miller Falls 75C miter box for sale on Facebook marketplace for $35. It's in great condition. Very minor rust, but lots of patina. The guy asked me if I was going to use it or display it. I told him I was definitely going to use a quality tool like this. The saw is a monster with 28" of teeth, and quite sharp. The man must have been about 90, walked with a little stoop, but was quite spry. He said he used this saw/box for all the moulding in his home when they built it in the 70s. I could have spent a lot of time checking out his garage full of antiques, but he had to head off with the tractor to bring up some firewood for the night. I hope I'm moving like that at 90.
