Every now and then I'll check out the local antique stores for old pens, inkwells, etc. Yesterday I went in thinking of something to use as a pen display/storage. I came across these two items after 2hrs of searching. With a lil TLC I think they'll be perfect!

First off is a small writing desk. The interior needs to be replaced and I'll either find or make some trays that will fit indside the larger cavity as well as the drawer. Then I'll look into replacing the green writing surface with a piece of glass.

Next is an old cigar holder. I thought this lil guy was cool as hell! The only drawback is that the middle and bottom trays are harder to see. But by turning the pen around it helps some. I'll need to add a bit of padding but all in all I think it was a great find.

Wow! Nice find!

Where did the pens come from? Did they come with it? LOL!!

I need to start looking for those kind of things!!

I can tell that Brooks made at least some of them....and at least the resin for some others. I do like his custom touch of turning his own embelishment to replace the Swarovski on the Majestic's clip and the finial on some of the other kits.
