The pen is made from a White Oak barrel from Sutter Wineries.

Very nice pen, great color in the cap. Your fit and finish is spot on. Were did you get the wood?

Here is the wood. One side is the outside of the barrel the other the inside.

I traded some pens for the wood from one of the companies that removed the barrels.

Based on the color of the cap, I'm guessing this was a Merlot barrel?:wink:
